Describing themselves as “The Future of The Future”, The Fantastic Plastics mix new wave, synth punk, and electro elements with Orwellian and Sci-Fi inspired lyricism. The band is a two piece live act, featuring video installations, custom costumes, and sing-along anthems. The band is following a stint in Brooklyn, where they made an impact at stages like the CMJ Music Marathon, Northside Festival, the Chris Gethard Show, and the Kotaku/io9 Cosplay Ball. The Fantastic Plastics will spend the summer of 2017 on the road for VANS Warped Tour.

One of the more unique bands on the 2017 VANS Warped Tour, the Fantastic Plastics live show consists of Miranda Plastic on Moog Synth, Theremin, and Vocals with Tyson Plastic on Guitar and Vocals. “Fifth Beatle” Dylan Plastic provides studio drums, bass, samples, video editing, and mesmerizing video installations.

Via the wonders of the internet, The Fantastic Plastics write, record & produce their songs with little to no physical interaction (because that’s the way things are done in The Future).

“Is sci-fi pop a genre? It is now, with Brooklyn duo The Fantastic Plastics’ wonderfully weird, dystopian “TV Head.” – All Things Go
“"While they’re sure to delight nostalgia seekers, the band’s catchy, fun tracks have a wide appeal that’s sure to draw in even the most discerning Brooklynite” – Delicious Audio
“The band sounds like Elvis Costello had a baby with Devo but that baby was stolen from home and raised by garage rock vinyl enthusiasts” – Baeble Music
“Blown away is an understatement - their infectious energy, amazing dance moves, and tunes reminiscent of Devo and the B52’s combine into a forcefield of bloody awesome.” – Left Bank Mag
